What kind of ideas are we looking for?
We are looking for any student-led business ideas that are scalable. In other words, ideas that have the potential to be big or grow fast–this is attractive to potential investors. You may submit more than one idea–actually submitting more than one idea is a smart thing to do! If submitting more than one idea, you must complete one application per idea. All applications must be submitted by filling out the online application form.
What happens if my or our team’s idea gets selected?
First, we’ll congratulate you on being selected to present! If your idea is selected, the Tech2gether organizers will schedule a time review the logistics of the event. You’ll have 5-7 minutes to present on the main stage of Tech2gether 2016. After that, our judges will evaluate all five presentations and select a winner.

A panel of three external judges selected by Tech2gether and collaborating universities.
When will the winners be announced?
Directly following the competition. After all five ideas have been presented, a short intermission will allow time for calculation of scores. Winners will be announced after the intermission.
When and how will the award money be distributed?
Once the winner is selected, a Tech2gether representative will reach out to your team asking for a completed w-9 form. After that is submitted, you/your team will be paid during the following pay period via a mailed check from 1313 Innovation (the organization behind Tech2gether).
