Kim Ramirez

Co-founder & CEO, Factsumo

Kim Ramirez is an entrepreneur and former finance executive. She spent nearly two decades on the finance side of business – complete with an MBA from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management – before striking out with her brother to launch FactSumo in 2013. To help product-minded entrepreneurs, Kim blogs about startup finance and accounting matters at FacingTheNumbers.

Maureen Rinkunas

Platform Director, Dreamit

Maureen (Moe) Rinkunas is Platform Director for Dreamit, where she crafts the experience for startups participating in Dreamit’s accelerator cohorts. Over the past 15 years, Moe has worked with hundreds of teams at organizations of all sizes from startups to Fortune 500 companies to help them take ideas from conception to market. Most of her career has been focused on the health and education verticals, with a passion for helping bring disruptive technologies into these markets. Outside of work, she is a fan of maker fairs and startup weekends and was part of a non-profit that began after taking the top prize at Lehigh Valley Startup Weekend in 2013. She has both a BS and MS in Chemical Engineering as well as an MBA, all from Lehigh University.

Nate Matherson


Nate Matherson is the Co-Founder and CEO of LendEDU. LendEDU is a marketplace for student loans and student loan refinancing. Nate started LendEDU with Matt Lenhard while a student at the University of Delaware. Nate participated in both the Iowa Startup Accelerator and Y Combinator with LendEDU. At LendEDU, Nate oversees content marketing, business development, partnerships, and finance. Nate grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area, but now lives in Hoboken NJ.

Machine Learning

John Cavazos

Associate Professor and JP Morgan Faculty Fellow, University of Delaware

Computer scientist specializing in machine learning, compilers, high-performance computing, and cybersecurity. In particular, my research focuses on the application of machine learning techniques to problems in cybersecurity, high-performance computing, and compilation.

Qingsong Zhu

Chief Operating Officer, Insilico Medicine, Inc.

Dr. Qingsong Zhu is the Chief Operating Officer of Insilico Medicine, Inc. and is responsible for Insilico Medicine operations and drug development. He obtained his Ph.D. degree from Kansas State University in biochemistry. Dr. Zhu received his postdoctoral training at Johns Hopkins under the supervision of Dr. Nancy Davidson in breast cancer field. He has over 12 years of experience in genomics research and drug development. His latest entrepreneurial endeavors focused on improving the early diagnosis and personalized treatment of cancer and other age-related diseases.

Jonathan Ohliger

Founder and CEO of VEEPIO

Jonathan has over 9 years’ experience in the financial technology sector prior to founding VEEPIO. As Managing Director at Singularity Technology Solutions, a financial technology software development company servicing the global capital markets, Jonathan specialized in implementing unique high frequency trading solutions for equities markets in the United States, Canada, Brazil, Argentina, London, and China. It was during this time that Jonathan developed his affinity for identifying advancements in technology and pairing them with emergent business models to generate platforms to serve the global social entrepreneur.


Nick Barba

Co-founder and senior vice president, Coakt

Formerly an iOS developer, Ruby on Rails programmer, and music engineer, Nick leads development activities at COAKT. His extensive startup experience includes tenure at NYC
s premier incubator IAC’s Hatch Labs and DE-DE. His primary focus throughout his career has been applying technology to the real problems of life and society. His outlook has always been one of failing as quickly as possible for the purpose of ultimately attaining spectacular success
a viewpoint that has placed him right in line with the Lean Startup methodology. Nick Barba is also the CoFounder of BlockstartsDE and the Delaware Blockchain Meetup, a member of the Board of Advisors of the Delaware Founders Initiative. He is a graduate of NYU and the University of Miami.

Kevin Kriss

Co-Founder, President and Chairman, Coakt

Kevin Kriss brings his unique scientific skill set to his latest entrepreneurial venture, COAKT, after having working in R&D and securing several patents as a Senior Research Technologist at DuPont for 14 years. Kevin is obsessed with making personal connections, innovating solutions for complex problems, and improving humanity through the intersection of business and technology. He is a student of and adherent to the Lean Startup Methodology. Kevin is also the CoFounder of BlockstartsDE and the Delaware Blockchain Meetup, a member of the Board of Advisors of the Delaware Founder’s Initiative, and the Co-owner of Sustainability Works LLC. He is a graduate of the University of Delaware

Stephen Payne

Vice President of Software Engineering, Zenbanx

Stephen Payne is the Vice President of Software Engineering at Zenbanx where he leads the software development organization. Zenbanx is a financial technology provider that offers mobile, multi-currency products through relationships with regulated financial institutions. Stephen enjoys learning new technologies and melding those into existing technology stacks to deliver innovative financial solutions to the marketplace. He has a BS and a MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland, College Park.
